Contract Machining
Manifold & Phalor, Inc offers a wide selection of capabilities to customers requiring manufacturing of component parts to print. Offering one of widest ranges of contract machining processes under one roof in central Ohio, we take pride in meeting the needs of our customers.
One of our customers required the finish machining of a cast aluminum vacuum sizing mold for large plastic pipe. Note in the second picture, the split mold shows the internal profiles cut into the ID of the part.

Large CNC milling capacity is an important part of the capabilities of Manifold & Phalor, Inc. Shown below is a large automotive die shoe during machining on our 5 axis CNC mill.

Small items also represent a portion of the typical parts produced on a daily basis. Shown below is a small gas oxygen burner made from brass. The burner orifices measure approximately 0.012”.

Machining of larger steel castings is also an area in which Manifold & Phalor, Inc has extensive experience. These 1200 lb. castings are used in the construction of modern diesel locomotives.

Exotic materials are also commonly processed. Shown below is a finished 9” diameter 200 lb. piercer point used in seamless tube mills. This part was made from an Inconel casting and is shown as the O-ring and locking grooves are being finished.

Hard materials are also machined on a regular basis. These are carbide rollers that are ground for one of our customers. The carbide blanks are sourced internationally and then finish ground in our facility.

In summary, large and small parts in a range of materials from common to exotic fall within the capabilities of Manifold & Phalor, Inc.
