Our History
1946
Richard Manifold and Carl Phalor founded Manifold & Phalor, Inc., a two-man machine shop.
1958
Acquired the rights to the AB Knight glass machinery company and the
Case Crane company, allowing Manifold & Phalor to expand into the
significant glass industry that existed in the Ohio valley in the mid 1900’s.
1972
Carl Phalor sold his share of the company to aerospace engineer Joseph
Creek.
1984
Richard Manifold Jr. took over ownership of the company from his father.
2001
Thomas Creek, a senior process and product engineer for Worthington
Industries, purchased Richard Manifold Jr.’s ownership in the company.
The same year, Manifold & Phalor began manufacturing GSE parts and
assemblies - including towbars, shoring systems, and jack parts - as a
contract supplier.
2007
Thomas Creek purchased the remaining shares of Manifold & Phalor
from Joseph Creek.
2018
Manifold & Phalor began supplying complete jack assemblies to the
military under contract.
2021
First shipment of commercial axle jacks.
2022
First shipment of wide-body aircraft jack shipsets.
